One of the most common questions we get from new clients is "How do I get documents to my accountant?" So we decided to make a video and answer it for you.
It's a great question. Regardless of whether you embrace technology, or you prefer a paper-based office, there are 4 different ways to get your documents to your outsourced accounting team here at Ignite Spot.
Option #1: Let Us Login
Most of the data and information for your company can be acquired by logging into software systems. As an accounting client, if you give us the ability to log into bank accounts and credit cards, you won't have to send us statements every month. If you give us the ability to log into process software like a point of sale platform, or your project management software, we can get information for billing customers, booking receipts, and more. This option puts your business on autopilot for the most part.
Option #2: Use Our Software
We use Podio to manage our tasks, deliverables and documents for your company. As a client, you would have access to this online work environment. You can easily drag and drop any documents right into Podio and it connects with Dropbox, Google Drive, and more.
Option #3: Create a email for us
Some of our clients prefer to create an email for us like firstname.lastname@example.org and then have all of their customers and vendors send financial inquiries there. Then we can log in and manage the entire process.
Option #4: Snail Mail
If you prefer to stick with paper, you can set up a P.O. Box and have everything forwarded to it. You can also package everything up and Fedex it to us. Once we get the documents, we will scan them and send them right back so that you have the original version.
